Ramadhan Appeal
And if anyone saved a life, it would be as if he saved the life of all mankind. Quran

Ramadan is a time of self-reflection, piety and blessings. The virtues of this month are many, allowing all Muslims to join together for a month-long period of pure devotion and worship. Charity is a key during this month,
the Prophet (PBUH) said:
“The best charity is that given in Ramadan.”

It is also a time to reflect and remember those who are less fortunate than us. For the poor and needy the blessed month of Ramadan can be a great struggle.
Widows with orphaned children and many other poor people have little or no provision to break their fasts with. With food shortages women and children are suffering from malnutrition and in urgent need of help.
World food crisis plus drought leaving millions of people hungry
A wave of food-price inflation is moving around the globe plus drought across many African countries, leaving in its wake drastically increased levels of hunger and poverty. The phenomenon is affecting everyone on the planet- but the poorest are hardest hit.
Giving to the needy during this month endows great blessings on the donor, allowing Muslims everywhere to enjoy the month of Ramadan without worrying about finding food or water. It is only through your kindness and generosity that we can provide them with basic necessities throughout this challenging month.
Rising prices for essentials like rice and bread means that fewer people are getting the food that they need, pushing more people into poverty.
Hunger is the most extreme form of poverty, where individuals or families cannot afford to meet their most basic need for food.
Food is a basic necessity of life. Those who are fortunate eat three square meals a day; however, over 840 million people around the world don’t even eat one square meal a day, whilst more than half a billion people are undernourished.
Feed the fasting appeal
Our Ramadan Food Program targets the most vulnerable families who live in the remotest areas, with little access to food or water. We also distribute food packages to orphanages & orphan children and their families.Last year QA volunteers distributed food aid packages through the feed the fasting program which helped many thousands of poor orphans and their families, the elderly and weak. From Africa to Asia, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Palestine, Yemen and many other places throughout the month of Ramadan. All this became possible with your generous donations, help and support.
Today we are appealing to you again to help us to deliver this food aid in the month of Ramadan to the neediest & poorest Muslim people around the world. This Ramadan QA is making special arrangements to feed the underprivileged families. There are millions of desperate and poor families who will have nothing or very little to survive on. Our aim is to help as many thousands of poor families as possible around the world. From Africa to Pakistan and Bangladesh to Palestine and Iraq & Yemen. We are making an urgent humanitarian appeal in the month of giving and mercy. The rewards of your good deeds are multiplied during Ramadan, so are the hopes of millions of poor people; hopes for peace, security and the preservation of livelihood and the dignity of mankind. This appeal is to help & feed the poor in this holy month; the month of earning reward and forgiveness from Allah (s.w.t).
Your help and support is urgently needed to support this project.
By donating just £40.00 you could feed a family of five for the whole month of Ramadan. That’s only £1.33 a day - a tiny amount, but for millions, it is the difference between a day ending with more hunger or a day ending with a full stomach.

The Holy Qur’an includes exhortations to Muslims to be charitable. Beside it being a principal religious duty, giving Zakah & sadaqah to the needy is one of the pathways to attaining moral transcendence.
The emphasis of feeding the poor in Islam does not start or end in Ramadan alone, but throughout one’s life.
"And they feed, for the love of Allah, the poor, the orphan, and the captive..." [Soorah al-Insaan, 8]
Allah’s Messenger (PBUH) said:
“He who feeds a fasting person will gain the same reward as he will, without decreasing from the fasting person’s rewards.” [Ahmad].
Zakah represents the unbreakable bond between members of the community, whom Prophet Mohammad (pbuh) described to be "like the organs of the body, if one suffers then all others rally in response."

Qaaf Aid collects and distributes Zakah to those Muslims who are most in need, in accordance with Qur’anic guidelines.
Charity is preached by almost every religion in the world. Charity is a way of bringing justice to society, whilst justice is the essence of religion. Islam has therefore made charity (Zakah) obligatory and binding upon all those who embrace the faith; it has been made into an institution in order to give in permanence and regularity.
QA’s mission is to help the poor and those in need to live sustainable, self-reliant lives within a safe and caring environment. Qaaf Aids humanitarian work is inspired by the saying of the Prophet
Muhammad (pbuh);
"The best of people are those who are most beneficial to others."
QA emphasizes financial assistance to widows, orphan children and people in need world-wide through contribution of Zakah and other funding programs. The sincerity and generosity of individuals such as yourself continues to strengthen the faith of our humanity.

Help to change a life and give hope to a poor Muslim Orphan and his / her family by donating your Zakah and Sadaqah & Lillah or by giving £3 a month or a small amount on a regular basis using Direct Debit. Our long –term projects depend upon this type of giving.
“And whatsoever you spend of anything (in the cause of Allah), He will replace it. He is the Best of those who grants sustenance.” [Sorah Saba‘ 34:39]
Prophet (saws) Also said: "The person who strives on behalf of the widows and poor is like those who strive in the way of Allah and like those who fast in the day and pray at night."
Qaaf Aids programmes extend far beyond granting aid to the poor, it requires commitment and effort. This is why we need your help and support. The need for funding and donations is greater than ever.
Those who spend their wealth by night and day, in secret and in public, shall have their reward with their Lord. On them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve" (Qur’an 2:274).
