Africa Humanitarian Aid

Africa is the world’s second largest continent after Asia. Poverty in Africa is predominantly rural.

More than 70% of the continent’s poor people live in rural areas and depend on agriculture for food and livelihood, yet development assistance to agriculture is decreasing.

In Sub-Saharan Africa, more than 218 million people live in extreme poverty. Among them are rural poor people in Eastern and Southern Africa, these areas have one of the world’s highest concentration of poverty.

Qaafiad currently has a number of aid projects; from food aid, water projects, family sponsor, education, orphan and widows sponsorship

This Covers Gambia, Tanzania, Kenya and Sudan. Over the last two years we have gradually increased our presence in these countries and other parts of Africa; operating small but meaningful aid projects directly affecting the lives of many.
