WATER APPEAL 

Over one billion people in the world are without safe water and over one and half billion lack basic sanitation. As a result a child dies every 20 seconds from water related diseases. For many of the world’s poorest people especially women and children, water collection is an exhausting daily burden that saps time and energy and tragically, half of all people in developing countries have no access to clean & safe drinking water.

ORPHAN APPEAL       

Orphans and vulnerable children are deprived of their first line of protection. -Their parents. Children without the guidance and protection of their primary caregivers are often more vulnerable and at risk of becoming victims of violence, exploitation, trafficking, discrimination or other abuses. In conflict situations, involuntary separation from both family and community protection, sometimes across national borders, greatly increases the child’s risk of exposure to violence, physical abuse, exploitation and even death.

Tens of thousands of people are continuing to flee the violence in Libya, and the United Nations refugee agency (UNHCR) says that the situation on the Libya-Tunisian border is reaching crisis point. As the conflict in Libya escalates, civilians’ lives are increasingly at risk and more than 300,000 people have fled the country.

Gaza Crisis Appeal

Gaza’s hospitals lack sufficient beds, drugs, resuscitation devices, needles, and blood to meet the demand and more than 80 percent of the population in Gaza is receiving emergency supplementary rations from U.N. agencies as their main source of food. Qaaf Aid aims to raise £100,000 each for food aid and medical aid for the people of Gaza.

Pakistan Humanitarian Appeal

Qaaf Aid volunteers team arrived in Pakistan, after attending a meeting with local government staff regarding the need of the people and how Qaaf Aid can be part of the large NGO’s group already providing much needed help, the team has already taken on the responsibility to provide much needed support by providing temporary shelters (Tents), Blankets and other emergency equipments.

African Humanitarian Appeal

Africa is the world’s second largest continent after Asia. Poverty in Africa is predominantly rural. More than 70% of the continent’s poor people live in rural areas and depend on agriculture for food and livelihood, yet development assistance to agriculture is decreasing. In Sub-Saharan Africa, more than 218 million people live in extreme poverty. Among them are rural poor people in Eastern and Southern Africa, these areas have one of the world’s highest concentration of poverty. Qaafiad currently has a number of aid projects; from food aid, water projects, family sponsor, education, orphan and widows sponsorship.
